Pennsylvania Health Center CRNP Speaks at White House Forum

Author: Amanda Tekely/Monday, April 26, 2021/Categories: Member News

Tarik Khan, MSN, FNP-BC, CRNP, a certified registered nurse practitioner with Family Practice and Counseling Network, an FQHC in Philadelphia, was a presenter on Wednesday at a White House Virtual Forum. The Forum focused on breaking down barriers for people who have challenges accessing COVID-19 vaccinations. Tarik has certainly been making the rounds in the past week! His work vaccinating the homebound was highlighted on MSNBC, was featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and was featured on CBS Evening News with Nora O’Donnell. Tarik also serves as the current president of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association and is a doctoral student at the University of Pennsylvania. The PACHC team has already been COVID vaccinated, but we would love a shot of whatever gives Tarik the time and energy of three people! Thank you for your dedication to serving the underserved.
