Aetna Better Health of PA

Aetna Better Health of PA and Aetna Better Health Kids provide health benefits and manage the care of people enrolled in Medical Assistance and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania, a member of AmeriHealth Caritas, is a Medical Assistance (Medicaid) managed care health plan serving more than 114,000 Medical Assistance recipients across two regions of Pennsylvania: the Lehigh/Capital Zone and the New West Zone. AmeriHealth Caritas offers all of the benefits and services of regular Medical Assistance plus special programs and benefits that are only available to AmeriHealth Caritas members. The goal is to provide a medical home that helps their members access the services they need as well as provide programs to help prevent illness and injury.
