Get Your In-House Pharmacy Questions Answered

At member request, PACHC is hosting a webinar to discuss the pros and cons of in-house FQHC pharmacies. Sue Veer, CEO of Carolina Health Centers and a national recognized expert on the 340B program will lead the session. Pharmaceutical contracts and discount programs like 340B allow health centers to provide needed medication to patients at a price they can afford. Recently these programs have been caught in federal court disputes between pharmaceutical companies and the Department of Health and Human Services. The uncertainty in state and federal rules and significant changes to reporting requirements have left many health centers wondering if an in-house pharmacy is the solution to continue to ensure their patients have access to affordable prescription drugs. A panel of health centers will share their experiences with starting an in-house pharmacy. Health centers will discuss best practices, lessons learned and answer questions during this panel presentation. There is no fee for this webinar, but registration is required and restricted to PACHC organizational members (FQHCs and RHCs). Register here for the March 4, 12:00 – 1:30 pm webinar.
