Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers serves as the collective voice for Pennsylvania's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FHQCs), FQHC Look-Alikes (FQHCLAs), and non-profit Rural Health Clinics (RHCs).  Our members are unique nonprofit primary care facilities that provide a wide array of services to Pennsylvanians in underserved areas of the state. There are nearly 300 sites in 52 counties serving nearly 900,000 Pennsylvanians.  At these primary care facilities, patients will receive high quality care at a price they can afford with sliding fees based on income and family size.

PACHC Hosting Childhood Immunization Strategy Session

The rate of childhood immunizations is down and there is rising concern that we will see a surge in otherwise preventable diseases, like measles, as a result. It is a concern shared by HRSA, the PA Department of Health, managed care organizations, public health experts and health centers. To address those concerns and to develop collective strategies and approaches, PACHC is convening representatives from each of these organizations in a special meeting next month. If you're interested in participating in this virtual brainstorming session, contact Cheryl Bumgardner, PACHC Clinical & Quality Improvement Manager.
