2019 Medical & Dental Integration Summit

Medical & Dental Integration Summit

Registration will soon be open on the PACHC website for the Medical & Dental Integration Summit. This is likely to be the final summit PACHC can offer with DentaQuest funding support.

  • WHEN: Aug. 7, beginning at noon with registration & lunch and concluding on Aug. 8 at 3:15 pm
  • WHERE: the Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey Hotel; the room block rate is $119.00/night and ends on July 9 at 5:00 pm. Click here to register online for your lodging
  • FEE: Member registration is 125.00/person with a $200.00 scholarship/organization available for the first 10 health centers that register; Non- Member registration is $225.00/person.
  • TOPICS (tentative):
    • A panel of the three health centers participating in the Qualis Interprofessional Oral Health Integration Project to discuss what they have learned over the last year participating in that project
    • Health center referrals and "closing the loop" between medical and dental
    • Oral health and diabetes: dental and medical working together
    • A panel on utilization of the public health dental hygiene practitioner
    • Trauma informed care in dentistry
    • HPV - what you need to know
    • The current state of oral health in PA along with a PA Coalition of Oral Health update
