Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers serves as the collective voice for Pennsylvania's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FHQCs), FQHC Look-Alikes (FQHCLAs), and non-profit Rural Health Clinics (RHCs).  Our members are unique nonprofit primary care facilities that provide a wide array of services to Pennsylvanians in underserved areas of the state. There are nearly 300 sites in 52 counties serving over 800,000 Pennsylvanians.  At these primary care facilities, patients will receive high quality care at a price they can afford with sliding fees based on income and family size.

Quality on Display

As part of the Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) commitment to recognize health centers as quality leaders, HRSA recently sent Health Center Quality certificates to the 47 National Quality Leaders and 393 Health Center Quality Leaders across the country, giving health center quality awardees a way to visibly share this honor. This effort follows the August 2017 Quality Improvement Awards of nearly $105 million to 1,333 health centers to recognize the highest performing health centers nationwide, as well as those health centers that have made significant quality improvement gains. Learn more. If you received a Quality Improvement Award for achieving national and/or health center quality leader standards but have not received a certificate in the mail, please contact the BPHC Helpline online or by phone: 877-974-BPHC (2742) from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm ET, Monday through Friday (except federal holidays).
