Upcoming HIE Informational Webinars

We are pleased to announce three webinars we're hosting for health centers about Pennsylvania's health information exchanges (HIEs). One of the aims of the HealthChoices Patient Centered Medical Home Learning Network is for providers to join an HIE organization in order to share health-related data.  These webinars will enable health centers to make an informed decision about HIE. Please RSVP to Cindi Christ.

  • The first webinar on Thursday, Jan. 11, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, will feature Mount Nittany Exchange, one of the four certified HIEs in Pennsylvania as well as a participant with the Pennsylvania Patient and Provider Network (P3N).
  • HealthShare Exchange (HSX) is the southeast region's HIE which already has Community Health Centers    among its membership and is expanding its geographic reach. The HSX presentation will be Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
  • ClinicalConnect Health Information Exchange, a western Pennsylvania P3N certified HIE, will present Thursday, Jan. 18 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
