Your Primary Care Media Center

Pennsylvania Association of Community Health Centers serves as the collective voice for Pennsylvania's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FHQCs), FQHC Look-Alikes (FQHCLAs), and non-profit Rural Health Clinics (RHCs).  Our members are unique nonprofit primary care facilities that provide a wide array of services to Pennsylvanians in underserved areas of the state. There are nearly 300 sites in 52 counties serving over 800,000 Pennsylvanians.  At these primary care facilities, patients will receive high quality care at a price they can afford with sliding fees based on income and family size.

Let's Work Together to Get the Ball Over the Finish Line

You would be incensed if your favorite football team stopped trying after they got the ball to the 10-yard line.  Similarly, the patients, communities and employees counting on you don't want you to lessen the pressure on legislators to resolve the health center funding cliff now that the House has passed legislation with extension language.  Despite the fact that it has been a long and hard "game" and you're tired, we must continue the drive to the finish line by keeping the advocacy pressure up and the volume of legislative outreach high. Please act now by sending your Senators a message asking them to:

  1. Take immediate action to fix the Health Center Funding Cliff
  2. Make a public statement about their commitment to immediate action to fix the Health Center Funding Cliff

Access template materials to share with your members of Congress on the HC Advocacy website.  The goal is in sight - let's work together to reach it.
