CAC/CDO Applications must be submitted by Friday, June 22

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has begun the process for Pennsylvania Certified Application Counselor Designated Organizations to recertify. All existing organizations must reapply to continue operating as a CDO.

Health Insurance Marketplace Premiums Expected to Spike

The Congressional Budget Office estimates removal of the requirement that Americans have health insurance or face a tax penalty will  contribute to a 10 percent rise in premiums for 2019, with insurers expected to see healthier people dropping out of the Marketplace leaving sicker, more costly enrollees on the plans.
